1999 built Diesel Hydraulic Railcar No. 187018-7 leaves Strasberg with the 1440 service from Hasselfelde to Harzgerode via Alexisbad. The 5 Railcars owned by the Harz Mountain Railway operate all bar three of the services on the 53km Quedlinbburg to Eisfelder Talmuhle, Selke Valley section of the Harz System. One steam locomotive takes care of the other services from its Depot at Gernrode, 8km south of Quedlinburg.
