The annual Llangollen Railway DMU Gala held over the weekend of 21st/22nd June 2014, had Class 101 vehicle Nos. 50160 + 50164 as its guest unit following a lengthy overhaul. The unit led an eight-car ensemble on the first train from Llangollen to Carrog on 2nd 1st June and is seen entering Glyndyfrdwy en route to Carrog.
