On 18th June 2014 at 13:43, a trio of First Great Western (FGW) Class 153 Nos. 153380 (leading), 153372 and 153333 approach Platform 2 at Cardiff Central, where the train will form the 14:00 service to Taunton. The rearmost unit, 153333, formerly in service with London Midland, retains its green livery although it has FGW lettering on its sides. Waiting at signals, centre, is Arriva Trains Wales Class 175/1 No. 175108, the service from Milford Haven to Manchester Piccadilly, which will draw into the platform, behind the 153s, and depart at 14:05. Also waiting in the distant sidings is an FGW HST, comprising Class 43/0 Nos. 43168 (nearest the camera) and 43140, which will form a service to London Paddington in about an hourĂ¢??s time.
