InterCity-liveried Class 37 No. 37518 approaches Copmanthorpe on 19th April 2014 with 'The North Eastern' returning from Newcastle to Leicester, running 95 mins late. The diesel had replaced LNER Pacific No. 46233 at Ferryhill after the tender of the steam loco developed a hot axle box. With some good running and the ommission of a water stop and engine change, arrival in Leicester was 3 mins early.
