After a late refusal by Network Rail to allow A4 No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley to traverse the line between Norwich and Sheringham, the K&ESR stepped in at the last minute and sent GW 0-6-0PT No. 1638 complete with a 60007 front number plate. Named by the crew as Sir Nigel Hawksworth it seen storming up Weybourne bank with the 12.46 Sheringham to Holt service on 7th March 2014, the first day of the NNR Spring Gala.
