On the 14th February 2014, the DRS operated 'Northern Belle', is seen approaching Eaglescliffe. The charter, hauled by Class 47/7 No. 47790 'Galloway Princess' with classmate No. 47832 'Solway Princess' at the rear, operated from Leeds around the Durham Coast to Gateshead and Newcastle upon Tyne before returning via the East Coast Mainline.
