With Network Rail Class 31 No. 31285 trailing and DBSO No. 9708 leading, the 08:50 Derby RTC to Stoke and return test train slowly passes Tutbury and Hatton Station on 5th February 2014, with other Network Rail coaches, Nos. 62384, 977985, and 99666 (ex exhibition). There was a problem with this structure gauging test train that meant a 30 minute passing time for the 7 miles from North Stafford Junction to Tutbury, and a consequential delay for the 09:42 Derby to Crewe service.
