The West Lancs Light Railway held a Gala event over the 10th-11th August 2013, when six steam locomotives were in use on an intensive service of both freight and passenger trains. On 10th August, Hunslet Sybil Mary, fresh from its recent visit to Threlkeld Quarry Mining Museum, shunts remains of Bagnall "Sybil" at the end of the day after it had been on display as the next project for the resident engineering team.
