LMS Black 5's No's.44871 & 45407 returned north through Taunton on Sunday 21st April hauling 'The Great Britain VI' (Day 2) from Newquay to Cardiff Central. After taking their booked water stop at Tiverton Loop, the pair made a rare non stop pass through Taunton at speed. They are seen here passing 40 Steps, Taunton before whistling through the station.
