Network Southeast Class 47/4 No. 47587 drags Class 87 No. 87024 out of Stafford on Sunday 13th September 1992 with a London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street train. Diesel drags were a common occurrence on Sundays in those days due to regular maintenance resulting in the overhead power supply being swithched off.
