Ex LMS Stanier 2-8-0 8F No. 48773 waits to depart Crewe on 10th April 1999 with Pathfinders 'The Copy Pitfinder' railtour from Coventry to York via Stockport and the Copy Pit route, hence the reason for being routed from platform 6 instead of the usual platform 12. The 8F worked the tour from Crewe to York with the other legs being Class 47 hauled.
