On the 31st October 2012 Class 08 Nos. 08711 and 08500, stand in a rather forlorn state, adjacent to a recently constructed workshop building at the eastern end of the DB Schenker refuelling point in Tees Yard. It is assumed that both of the 08s are under repair, although 08711, which arrived before 08500, has been standing outside in this condition since at least the 29th July 2012, the date of my last visit.
