Class 73 No. E6036 (73129) stands on Chicken Curve during a ballast drop on 26th September 2012. This was the first day of ballasting the relaid track over the curve. The Class 73 became the first train to pass over the new track and join up the two halves of the GWR on Monday 24th September when it ran from Winchcombe to Stanton to collect the ballast wagons.
