Following final application of BR blue top coat, Class 45 No. 45149 was paired with Class 26 No. D5343 on a test run from Toddington to Laverton on 13th July prior to the GWR's Diesel Gala on 25th to 27th July. The 45 and 26 complete an impressive line up at the gala, which with special guest class 35 Hymek D7017 from the WSR, features classes 20, 24, 26, 35, 37, 45, 47 and 73.
