On 27th September 2012, First Great Western Class 153 No. 153368 is about to depart from Liskeard with the 14:28 to Looe. As may be seen from the image, the station is well maintained; a few years ago retro-signage was fitted to the Looe platform, which suits it well and gives an ambience of half a century ago when the pace of life was slower and train travel less rushed and more an event to savour, especially in Cornwall.
