Carrying around 80 musicians on a UK tour, 1Z61 'The African Express' passes Copmanthorpe, south of York on 3rd September 2012, on the Leeds to Middlesbrough leg of its journey. The train was hauled by DRS Class 47/4 No. 47805 with classmate No. 47810 on the rear and was booked to run via Castleford and Church Fenton. Note the loco's decorated buffers depicting a map of Africa.
