On 20th August 2012 Steam Dreams' excursion 'The Cathedrals Express' was originally booked for haulage by LMSR Princess Royal Pacific No. 6201, but its non-availability led to the replacement by Bulleid designed Merchant Navy Pacific No. 35028 'Clan Line.' This image shows 'Clan Line' working 1Z74, 08:45 London Victoria to Cardiff Central via Gloucester at Portskewett, a couple of miles east of Severn Tunnel Junction. The train is about to pass under the footbridge at the former station, which closed in 1964.
