Class 60 No. 60017 has just completed refurbishment at Toton and on 13th August 2012 stands outside Toton Depot ready to work its first revenue task since repairs were completed, on 6L15 to Whitemoor in the evening. Despite efforts to mask previous markings the large number 60017 and EW&S can still just be made out on the loco, which will shortly be repainted into DB Schenker red livery. The Shotton Works Centenary Year 1996 nameplates, retained during storage, have now been removed.
