CN Boxcabs No's 6722 and 6723 wait at Deux Montagnes on Friday 12th February 1993. They arrived with the 16:40 commuter train from Montreal Central and are about to return with the empty stock. Nine locos were built between 1924 and 1926 by the English Electric Company at the Beyer Peacock works in Preston, UK. They were bought by CN from the National Harbours Board in the early 1940's for expanded passenger service on the 2400V d.c. lines out of Montreal Central. These two survived until the line was rebuilt to 25kV a.c. in 1995.
