Class 86 No. 86259 'Les Ross' passes through Lancaster on the down main line on 12 April 2012, heading the Railway Touring Company's 'Cumbrian Mountain Express from Euston. The electric loco was replaced at Carnforth by SR 'Battle of Britain' No. 34067 for the onward journey to Carlisle.
