Class 47/8 47826 Springburn approaches Burton-upon-Trent with the morning Leeds to Bristol service on 2nd May 2002. The loco is specially painted in old Mainline livery (rather than the Red Virgin livery to match the coaches) to mark the imminent end of loco hauled cross country trains. This loco is still working 10 years on for West Coast Railways, carrying advertising for steam hauled Scarborough Spa Express excursions.
