An excursion was run on 2 March 2012 utilising the Northern Belle train-set from Cardiff Central to Fishguard Harbour, with a stop at Swansea to pick-up additional passengers. The train ran as 1Z73 and departed from Cardiff at 09.06 hours and Swansea at 10.36 hours. This view shows DRS 47832 'Solway Princess' on the rear of the train, climbing out of Swansea heading for Fishguard and at the front of the train may be glimpsed DRS 47790 'Galloway Princess' just about to pass the FGW Depot at Landore.
