English Electric type 5 No. D410, pictured at Manchester Victoria on 17th June 1970. Later as Class 50 No. 50010, the loco received the name 'Monarch' and was withdrawn in 1978, being cut up in 1988. On the adjacent platform is EE type 4 No. D212 'Aureol'.
