On 6th January 2012, East Lancashire Railways ran a type 3 running day using its type 3 locomotives, Class 37s No. 37109 and 37109, Class 33 No. 33109 and seen in this picture Class 35 N0. No. D7076. The 'Wesmek' (Known by some due to its Western Maybach engine) is seen entering Ramsbottom while working a full line service to Rawtenstall.
