Over the weekend of 15th and 16th October, East Lancashire Railways subbed their annual diesel gala for a Deltic Gathering featuring all 5 running Class 55 'Deltics'. Despite this, ELR featured newly restored Class 40 No. D335 after being out of traffic for over 2 years. Here, it is seen terminating at Ramsbottom after a late evening shuttle from Bury.
