On 11th September 2011, the the third day of the Swanage Railway's Steam gala, resident locomotive, Drummond M7 Class 0-4-4T, No. 53 (30053), crosses Corfe Common on the approach to Corfe Castle, with the three-coach shuttle-train that ran between Harman's Cross and Norden throughout the weekend. Providing assistance at the rear is Bulleid Pacific 34028, 'Eddystone'.
