About one mile south of Llandeilo station is the request stop at Ffairfach situated next to the main road (A483) through the village, the crossing being controlled by lights only with no barriers, similar to many crossings on the Heart of Wales line. Seen on 7th September 2011 is Arriva Trains Wales' Class 153 No. 153312 working the 13.14 Swansea to Shrewsbury.
