The ELR Winter Gala over the weekend of 22nd/23rd January 2011, with the attraction of the SVR's Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 No. 46443 as guest engine, ran with only four locos after the failure of Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 5337 before the event. On 22nd January, visiting Standard Caprotti Class 5 4-6-0 No. 73129 waited at Bury Bolton St to depart with the 16:15 Rawtenstall - Heywood service.
