'Western' No. D1015 Western Champion passes the popular spot of Burrs on the East Lancashire Railway with a train for Rawtenstall during a diesel event on 7th July 2007. There are plans to build a station here to serve Burrs Country Park and a caravan park adjacent to the Brown Cow pub. However, council cutbacks may lead to this plan being postponed at least.
