An unexpected End of Year working saw the Pretendelino trainset working a WCML diagram on 30th December with hired-in Powerhaul-liveried Class 90 No. 90045 as motive power. The final leg of the diagram was the 18:46 Euston - Preston service then ecs to Wembley and the ensemble is seen at the platform shortly after arriving from Euston.
