On the on 4th September 2010, EWS Class 67 No. 67023 was used as the main loco after the CFPS owned Class 40 No. 40145 suffered a number 4 traction motor failure once past Netherfield Junction on the 1Z40 leg of the East Lancs Explorer charter. 67023 is seen here with 40145 dead in tow, on the outward leg of the railtour at Manea in the Cambridgeshire Fens, with the classic semaphore signaling in view in the distance.
