LMS Royal Scot 4-6-0 No. 46115 'Scots Guardsman' simmers at the east end of Manchester Victoria after the first circuit of the 'Cotton Mill Express'. Passengers from the tour have a leg stretch in the afternoon sunshine as the support crew inspect the locomotive. Unfortunately the tour was not allowed to continue, however No. 46115 did take the ecs up to Castleton where repairs were made. The loco hauled the ecs back to Carnforth in the evening.
