Compass Tours operated the 'Fathers Day Scotsman' on 20th June 2010 from York to Edinburgh taking the 'long way round' via Leeds, Manchester, Wigan, Preston and Carlisle. The train was hauled throughout by class 40 No. 40145 'East Lancashire Railway' and is seen here approaching Copmanthorpe shortly after a 06.45 departure fom York.
