On the single line section between Barthomley Junction and Crewe, Class 47 No. 47270 “Swift†and Class 57 No. 57601 double head the “Fylde Coast Express†on the first stage of the tour from Sheffield. 6233 “Duchess of Sutherland†will take over at Crewe for the second stage of the tour to Blackpool on a hot and sunny on 5th June 2010.
