Class 70s are currently working the Chalmerston - Fiddlers Ferry mgr service which is replacing the normal Ellesmere Port service that has been suspended due to the non-availability of the coastal steamer.
On May 19 No. 70002 drifted round the back of Arpley yard after reversal at Walton Sidings en route to a further reversal at Latchford Sidings thence transit to Fiddlers Ferry power station.
