A number of Esk Valley line services were operated by the NYMR on Sunday 4 October 2009 between Whitby/Grosmont and Battersby, during the Autumn Stem Gala. The 14.20 from Whitby was hauled by SR Schools Class No. 30926 'Repton', seen approaching Lealholm station.
