Class 43 HST power car number 43013 stands at the head of the Network Rail New Measurement Train in Manchester Victoria on 17th August 2009. No. 43013 is fitted with a newer MTU diesel powerplant, which is designed to be quieter than the Valenta original, as well as being more fuel efficient with lower emissions.
