The unusual sight of the NMT in Manchester Victoria! Class 43 HST power car number 43062 "John Armitt" stands in the darkness of the station on 17th August 2009 at the rear of the Network Rail New Measurement Train. 43062 retains it original Valenta Paxman powerplant, whereas 43013 to the front of the train was fitted with a newer quieter MTU powerplant.
