The first Class 60 No 60001 has been stored at Toton since 2006 after suffering a major engine failure. It is seen further back in one of the depot compounds with its 'Railway Observer' nameplates still attached. It is surrounded by a number of stored Class 58 locomotives and 2 Class 08 shunters.
