In its faded Virgin livery, 87023 stands in front of the line up of its sister locomotives at Long Marston on 8th June 2008. 87023 last carried the name 'Polmadie' after the Glasgow maintenance depot, it was previously named 'Velocity' for 15 years and 'Highland Chieftain' prior to that.
