In what appears to be a poorer external condition than that of its neighbouring locomotives, 87003 is next in line at Long Marston. 87003 previously carried the name 'Patriot' for most of its working life. Out of the fleet of 36 locomotives, 5 are believed to have been scrapped, with 4 in the hands of preservation groups, 1 of which is already operational and back on the main line. 8th June 2008
