Class 60 No 60054 'Charles Babbage' stands in the shunting 'neck' at Bedworth oil terminal as its charge of oil tankers are unloaded. 60054 is unique in the EWS fleet as it is the only operational locomotive that still carries its original full 'trainload' BR freight livery, it has yet to fall victim to the application of EWS transfers and livery. It is still in its original 'as built' livery complete with its original name - after the English Mathematician Charles Babbage. 60054 still retains its Trainload Petroleum decals to the bodysides and cabsides, highly appropriate to its current engagements on heavy oil workings. It makes a fine sight catching some of the days sunshine, showing just how the Class 60's suited this livery.
