Class 47 No.47309 attended the South Devon Railway Diesel Gala weekend and is pictured on Saturday 26th April. The locomotive was not in the best of health, and although work was carried out on the locomotive, it managed just three miles on the 20:40 Totnes - Buckfastleigh before being swithced off at Staverton. The train was then pushed to Buckfastleigh by 31108 & 33202
