On the BVZ Bahn Tasch is the terminus for road vehicles up the MatterVisp Valley and to reach Zermatt all traffic is by rail from Tasch to Zermatt. BVZ Class HGe4/4II No. 5 departs from Tasch Zermatt bound on 10.23 Brig-Zermatt on 27th February 1994.
