Brush Type 4 No. D1635 storms up Shap in fine style near the Shap Lodge with a Glasgow bound express on 9th June 1966. No. D1635 became No. 47053 and was withdrawn in 1998, but survived until 2007 when it was dispose of at EMR, Kingsbury.
