DBC Class 67 No. 67005 Queen's Messenger with the empty stock of the Royal Train en-route Pickering - Scarborough via York with LNER A3 Pacific 60103 Flying Scotsman tender first on rear. The train earlier had worked through to Pickering on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. This was in connection with 60103 100 Years Old and the NYMR 50 years old in the Preservation Era. The train is approaching Skelton Jnc, York and in Holgate Sidings 60103 will be replaced by 67006 Royal Sovereign to continue to Scarborough. Then the Royal Train will head to Malton to pick up King Charles 111 to return to London King's Cross on 12th June 2023.
