BULMARKET Siemens Smarton No. 80029 sits out a lengthy booked pathing stop at Slivnitsa in Western Bulgaria on 25th March 2022. West of Sofia, the predominantly single track main line to Serbia appears to have a two hour gap in the morning where all services east and west are halted for track inspection and maintainance which was certainly the case throughout the week ending 26th March. Out of sight in this view but firmly attached to the rear of the consist is UK exported Class 86 electric locomotive No. 86235 'Novelty', now renumbered in Bulgaria as 85 004 to avoid confusion with the already established Class 86 locomotives acquired from Denmark.
