A southbound summer only service from Scarborough passes Challoners Whin Junction, south of York, on 18th August 1973 with BR Type 2s Nos. 5280 and 5162 providing the power. The line in the foreground is the now closed ECML to Selby. The locomotives became Nos. 25130 and 25012 respectively under TOPS.
