Sporting a curiously restyled front end devoid of connecting doors and headcode discs, Class 40 No. 40058 ambles through Warrington Bank Quay with a short freight train on 14th June 1984. The locomotive had just three months left in service, being withdrawn in September of the same year and scrapped in October 1987.
