GWR Class 150 No. 150938 arrives at Pilning on 29th October 2016, with the 15:21 from Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central, the final train to call at the down platform which has now been closed. The footbridge was demolished on 5th November 2016 and Pilnings service of just two trains a week are now Taunton bound. In 2016, Pilning was the 3rd least used station in the UK with 46 passengers; a figure which is now likely to fall further.
